Somatic Sexology

Somatic sexology overview

Somatic sexology combines the principles of somatics (focused awareness through the body) with sexology, the scientific study of human sexuality.

Within a somatic sexology session the principles of the wheel of consent are deeply embedded. The sessions are client-driven, beginning with the client's intention and the development of an educational contract. Clients are empowered to guide the pace and capacity of the session.

Somatic sexology sessions strictly involve one-way touch (practitioner to client) with intimate work conducted using gloves.

What to expect in a session

  • Exploration and communication of desires and limits.

  • Pleasure mapping.
